These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of heynextjob (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the operator of the Service and apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service in any capacity, whether through the website, mobile interfaces, or other provided channels.

We may offer certain features in a beta or experimental form. Such features may change, break, or be discontinued without notice. Your continued use of any beta features is at your own risk, and feedback provided to us may be used to improve the Service without restriction.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. If you register an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary so that it remains truthful and complete. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.

If your account is compromised or used in violation of these Terms, we may suspend or terminate access to protect you and the integrity of the Service. We reserve the right to reject, reclaim, or change usernames that impersonate others, infringe on rights, or are otherwise inappropriate.

3. Credits, Payments & Refunds

Access to certain features may require the purchase and use of credits. Details about available packages and pricing can be found on our Pricing page. Prices are subject to change at any time, and promotional offers may be available for a limited duration. Applicable taxes may be added depending on your billing address.

We may change the cost of services at any time in our sole discretion, including but not limited to credit pricing, package composition, per-minute rates for Live Assistant, and any usage-based fees. Unless otherwise stated, changes take effect upon posting and apply prospectively to future purchases and usage.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: attempting to access non‑public areas; probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of systems; interfering with the proper working of the Service; reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code where not permitted; scraping or harvesting data without consent; and using the Service to create, upload, or distribute unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

You must respect the intellectual property, publicity, and privacy rights of others. Do not upload content that you do not have the right to share. We may remove, disable, or take other action regarding content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, including resumes and answers. You grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, process, transcribe, and analyze such content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service and related features. Security and confidentiality. We apply industry‑standard safeguards to protect your content and personal data. We do not sell your data and we do not share your content with third parties for their independent purposes (such as advertising or marketing). We may use trusted service providers solely as our processors (for example, cloud hosting and payments) under strict confidentiality and data‑protection obligations; they may process data only to provide services to us, not for their own use. If we are ever legally required to disclose information, we will limit the disclosure to what is required and, where permitted, notify you.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you provide does not include sensitive information you do not wish to disclose. Where recording features are used, you are solely responsible for complying with notification and consent requirements in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of other participants.

6. AI Guidance Disclaimer

The Service may generate suggestions, insights, or feedback using artificial intelligence. Such outputs are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute guarantees of interview outcomes, employment decisions, or professional advice. You should evaluate all outputs critically and, where appropriate, seek guidance from qualified professionals.

We continually work to improve quality; however, AI systems may produce incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate information. You acknowledge these limitations and agree to use the Service accordingly.

6. Live Assistant: Real-Time Meeting Support

Live Assistant runs inside the web application. With your permission —via the browser’s tab sharing dialog— it uses only the meeting content you explicitly share from the tab you choose to generate real-time draft suggestions for you. It never access your microphone. By using Live Assistant, you agree to the following additional terms:

• No recording or storage. Processing is in-session only and exists solely to generate on-screen suggestions during the active session. We do not record or store meeting audio, captions, or content.
• Your responsibility for consent. Before starting, you must ensure you have any required permissions or consent from participants and comply with applicable privacy and recording laws and company policies.
• Limited scope. Live Assistant has access only to the specific tab you authorize via your browser. Other tabs are not accessible and are not monitored.
• No microphone access. Live Assistant does not access your microphone under any circumstances.
• In-session processing only. Where available, Live Assistant may use live captions from the selected tab; otherwise it processes the meeting signal from that tab in real time. Any intermediate data is discarded when the session ends.
• No sharing or selling. We do not sell, store, or share meeting content or participant information. Suggested drafts are visible only to you.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, posed a risk to other users, or engaged in fraudulent or unlawful activity. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution terms.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non‑infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. The updated Terms will be effective as of the stated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
